We will miss our dearest friend Ruben Mangasarian R.I.P.

Not knowing how to write this, the man I looked up to my whole childhood whose laughter and giant posture are clear as day for me.

We loved him dearly. My one happiest time was getting to hang out with him when I was young, I had missed him dearly and now the memories of him are all I have left.

If you had known Rubo than you are a lucky person indeed. We are all fortunate people to have met him and known him.

He was one of the best – if not the best – photo-reporter in Armenia.

He worked during Karabakhi demonstrations in 1988 and the Spitak earthquake. Rubik shot in the war and after the terrorist attack in the Armenian parliament in October 1999. His works were published in the most prestigious newspapers and magazines in the world, they can be seen in many different directories, and encyclopedias devoted to Armenia and the Caucasus.

It was me more than others.

We were not just co-authors, working together in various places: in the urban areas, in the theater or at a stadium in the mountains or in remote villages.

We were the closest friends and associates. We understand each other half, poluvzglyada, polukivka.

How many nights we spent sitting in the kitchen or on the veranda of a small office that we were filming together, thinking about future projects and trips that together we take a – it is with a camera, a notebook and my pen.

How many hundreds of miles we have done on the roads and off-Armenia and Georgia, which went to prepare materials for those who live in Armenia, above all (above sea level), how to live or Molokans Dukhobors on how to drive the famous mulberry vodka and octogenarian grandmother degustiruet it.

God, how many designs, ideas and thoughts have been with us! How much energy has been with us, when we began to realize our ideas, and we believe in the future, which are also trying to create.

And how wonderful we kutili how many shashlik had eaten and drunk as vodka and cognac. And how delicious Rubik prepare coffee …

Rubik was beside me in the darkest moments of my life. Including so heavy that I can not tell about them. Rubik was next and in the most cheerful, happy and schaslivye minutes.

And now he is not …
