OK first of all, …is no one disturbed by the fact that she just lets him do whatever he wants sexually? she says “no i don’t want to” but ALWAYS gives in. and how many times does she say “that hurts” but keeps on doing it anyway? this is a total male fantasy movie. plus the plot is weak (like anyone was watching it for the plot. be honest.) by the end, sex is just a really tired metaphor for their relationship. i don’t see an explanation for the inclusion of sex in this movie other than for it’s own sake, which would have been a noble decision if it weren’t for the fact that it seemed to interrupt and sometimes hinder the plot.
i’ve seen much better close-to-real-sex movies and it CAN be done well. it seems SO contrived. many scenes are just excuses to film sex in shocking ways/places/ect. and the squelching sounds made me laugh. who did the sound effects on this movie? lol, come on! it was way too much. touching a vulva does not sound like squeezing your my hand in a jar of slimey worms.
